Installation Guide

Installing your new PCM is straightforward and can be completed in 15-30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Tools Required:

  • 10mm socket or wrench
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Safety glasses

Installation Steps:

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 5 minutes
  2. Locate the PCM (typically mounted in the engine bay or behind the dash)
  3. Remove the mounting bolts securing the PCM
  4. Carefully disconnect all electrical connectors
  5. Remove the old PCM
  6. Install the new pre-programmed PCM in reverse order
  7. Reconnect the battery and start the vehicle
  8. Allow the vehicle to idle for 10-15 minutes to complete the relearn process

Note: If your check engine light remains on after installation, the system may need additional drive cycles to complete all relearn procedures. This is normal.
